i went to daily snitch for the first time in a long time and noticed that they're doing sign ups for sirry christmas. which uh... holy crap when did it become christmas time, i still want to go to the beach before school starts, and also...

does anyone know anything about yuletide, (becuase i'm too lazy to google it and find out right now)? like, when do sign up starts? also, how elite is it? i remember a few hp comms only let like 30 people sign up. but you'd think for rare fandoms/pairings they'd want more people to get a higher opportunity of matching people.

i'll probably join bestmates, maybe a random one, see if i can get an xmen christmas going, or check out buffy fandom, see if they do anything. but i'm in so many "rare" fandoms that i'd love to do yuletide. so, anyone got the inside scoop?

also, i'm wearing black and red striped fingerless gloves with zombie appliques. i feel so awesome! i loves me my zombies!

i really want to do a holiday-swaperoo-fest too...but i don't know which...and i'm meant to be getting to work on my nextgenbigbang fic and arrrrgh. too little time and, more importantly, too little writerly-drive :<

zombies? zombies?! i went to the london tombs, this new tourist attraction, and fucking hell! i'm terrified of zombies after it. it was in the dark with strobes, so you couldn't see what was going on, and you stumble around in the dark, falling over skeletons/boxes/small rocks and then the lights flash and zombies run at you! arrrrgh! with knives and chainsaws and a need to eat your brain! *whimpers in the corner*

omg, i wanna go do that soooo badly. that sounds fucking awesome. there must be some way to get vince and jason to come to london with me, so we can go be attacked by zombies. HOMG. dude. dude. i want that SO MUCH!!!

no. it was terrible. i love horror and the london dungeons is probably my favourite attraction of all time. the london tombs was...frigging hell, the guy in front of my was a blubbering wreck and kept going 'i need to get out of here, oh god, let me out of here!'...*shudders*...and there was a giant spider...it was like being in a post-apocalptic version of harry potter where i was ron...*whimpers*

that said - come to london! come to london with vince and jason! (possibly during one of my holidays so i'm around as well) we can go to the scary sites (dungeons and tombs) and...erm...we can go dancing in soho (soho square is where i always imagined diagon alley was...because it's approximatly where jo drew it on her map...there's this little alleyway beside the astoria (this derelicty theatre) on charing cross road, and i was sooo sad when it just led to a square and not a magical land...) and we can drink tea and...and...something else. there's loads to do...i just don't know what else will twist yur arm...see, i could mention that you could come to the tate and meet chatterton (the only painted boy i've ever loved) but i don't know how much you love art...it might make you run away...erm, you can come to my favourite bar (...the girl works there now and it's just gone from being the best place ever to being...well...there wasn't any further up it could go :D it's perfect) and snape's pub, (as the t00bs call it, i've never been, but i'd love to go one day) and brighton (of course, because it's going to be my new home town).

erm, i'm feeling the patriotism quite badly, as you might be able to tell, because of the 2012 olympics. the handover was yesterday and me and some friends spent the whole time going 'omg! omg! it's a bus! omg! it's a zebra crossing! omg! it's londoners! omg! it's gonna be so cool!'
