gala_applesoh my freaking god.
i found a new fandom, thanks to yuletide. turns out my favourite books as a 8 year old are slash-worthy.
so i read the fics, and it's nearly all pg13. which i completely understand, because i have difficulty slashing my childhood, except it fits so perfectly. even more then seamus/dean, and that's saying a LOT.
the first thing i write is pg13, from the perspective of a rare character. which i guess is pretty common for me as a fandomer. i seem to like people that have about 2 canon lines.
the thing i just started to write is NC17 bondage D/s. guys, i'm utterly freaking horrified. every time i write a sentence i blush. i can't remember the last time i blushed, not in the last 5 years at least. i'm almost freaking myself out. it's demanding to be written, but writing it is embarassing me. it's the first thing in my five fandom years that i've considered a 'dirty' story.
has anyone felt the same when going for a new fandom or pairing? especially based on younger canon?
