gala_applesso, how do you guys find new music you haven't listened to before?
i used to go to pandora, but the rat-bastards closed it to canadians. so now i'm stuck with listening to the radio with all the commericals and crap. though, i do have a weird technique. i also bring up limewire and type in a random word like "good" or "arm" and download one of everything that comes up. then i systematically listen to everything i've downloaded to see what's good and what's not, and download more by the same artist.
if anyone feels like sharing music, i like metal(metallica), punk(manson), alternative(dandy warhols), rock(korn), cabaret(dresden dolls), and soft acostic boys (coldplay), blues(blues brothers) swing(brian seltzer orchastra). i have a bit of an aversion to country, and a strong aversion to r&b and hiphop. except swollen members.
