summary: thought of it for queerditch. wrote it for elsie.
The only way he was ever good was when he was with Harry. His virtue built, his compassion built, he becomes a better person when he’s around Harry.
But love can be turned a different way. For as much as he wants to please Harry by being the perfect man, it also turns him cruel. People that could be understood through a certain glass are wiped out, if you don’t adhere to a particular avenue of thought, you’re wrong. That’s what Ron has learnt.
Fucking is almost embarrassing, though he never expected much, from the way his brothers mentioned it. He can never get it in on the first try, and sometimes there isn’t enough lube and he causes pain. It’s worth it, in the end, when come courses through their veins and splatters.
If there wasn’t this, he wouldn’t know how to go on. Ron has far since left behind any life of his own. He lives for Harry, he lives because of Harry, he kills because Harry wants him to, he’ll die for Harry when the time is right. He is Harry’s second life.
He is Harry’s second half, and though he never told a single soul, it almost didn’t happen. He was sure on the train he was going to be Gryffindor, since his brothers were, what else could he be. But then that black rag sat, and told him his ambition to rise above his brothers would fit in quite well in another infamous house. But he somehow knew, even at eleven, that if he went there, he would never have Harry. And he doesn’t regret it.
Ron needs Harry’s dark hair plastered with sweat to his skull. Ron needs the brilliant arch of Harry’s feet. Ron has to have his thin frame, ribs poking out unapologetically.
