gala_applesI turned 24 today :)
As always, no birthday presents because my one present is a Fringe pass, no birthday dinner because I'm at Fringe, no overnight birthday hangout because I have to be up early for Fringe tomorrow. Although Jasley is mailing me a thing, and two people PMed me to wish me a happy day. If my choice is between a celebration or Fringe, cramming as many shows as possible into 11 days will always win.
It's weird. This is the first summer in several years that I haven't been to a con. I wanna dress up and talk nerdy! Instead we're all dressed up in Threadless and w00tshirt (not kidding, I've counted so many shirts I recognise) and we're talking elitist. Although one thing is the same- con crud. Except it needs a witty alliterative title. Play pnuemonia? It's just a cold though, from being around thousands of people that have different germs than I do. Can't be concert cold, they're plays. I dunno. I'm too sleep deprived to think of something.
Haven't been picked for BBB yet. I'm pretty happy I wasn't around yesterday to refresh a thousand times. On one hand I thought I wouldn't get picked because weird-pairing-weird-scenario. On the other hand, that hasn't really stopped people from picking me in the past? So I was hopeful. But nope, my summary was not alluring. I recognise a few of your summaries, and I hope you all get things you love.
