In the past I've had a lot of fun with collaboration. I used to do a lot of drawble/drabbles in Harry Potter, where the artists were plentiful, and I did a few co-fics. Nothing like that happened in Skins, but then I came into Bandom, and, well, between Jasley and Elle it's something like 200k of shared verse and switching off paragraphs.

So Pod_Together was like ohhhh, another medium in which to work off of others. And I thought things were going pretty well. I got specific perimeters within which to write, and I was doing that, and they said in our emails that when it was betaing time they'd go through and change things that wouldn't be fun to read. I was almost finished writing, and I was waiting for the metaphorical red pen to cross off the difficult stuff.

Except I just got an email from the mod, saying that my partner doesn't like what I've written, and they're requesting a new partner. Which is fine, I guess. I mean, I sure as hell wouldn't want them to be forced to collab on something they don't like. That's not fair at all to them. I'm just sorta confused, because they didn't tell me 'shitty idea, move on to the next thing'. I would have changed it.

I'm not trying to start drama. I checked, and the partners aren't listed anywhere, and on my end I'm pretty sure I didn't tell anyone who I was partnering with. If I'd broadcasted it everywhere I wouldn't post this post, but since it's anon it's okay. I'm not mad, or pouty. I guess it's more like podding together didn't work for me, so time to move on. Anyone wanna co-write or drawble/drabble? I know I'm good at that, at least!
