gala_applesOne of my H/C prompts is 'infected wounds'. I already wrote a blood poisoning through hangnails fic. I'm not the kind to write a war fic (although I guess I could do Killjoys). A weird supernatural worldbuilding thing could be cool too. But what I reaaaally want to do is write a infected new tattoo fic. Not hepatitis, just a basic infection.
From what I'm reading it's basically like any other blood infection: streaky skin, a bit of pus, don't self diagnose, take antibiotics once it's confirmed. But I've never gotten a tattoo, and I know some of the people on my flist have multiple. Do any of you have experience with an infected tattoo? And if you do, wanna tell me about it?
