Little known fact: tetris keeps me sane.

It's a strange thing, but true. Whenever I am stressed I play handheld tetris. Tetris keeps me from punching my mom in the face when me and my dad are having a conversation and she's sneering at me. Whenever I'm about to enter a stressful situation I play tetris. I take it travelling. And good thing too, I ended up playing for seven hours straight when I missed my connecting plane from Toronto to Winnipeg. It even calms me from sheer hysteria; I played it while I was waiting for my court case and considering killing myself instead of going to jail.

This morning the left button stopped working. Amazon.ca doesn't have it. Ebay doesn't have new ones, and I don't want to buy a old one that'll wear out the week I get it. There are no stores here that have it.

Amazon.com has it. Amazon.com says it will ship to international addresses, but every time I try to process the order it says my address isn't available.

I'm kind of freaking out right now. It's pathetic/ironic that normally when I felt like this I'd go play a game or two. I don't drive, but I am strongly considering paying sixty bucks so my dad can get a passport so he can drive me into the states so I can pick one up at a Walmart. Goddamn you, Amazon.com.

Amazon shipped to the netherlands, so it HAS to ship to you. What about trying a friend's address?

It's not pathetic... Whatever keeps you sane love ;)

I was like 'I could take medication to calm me down, but it'll make me stupid and if they switch the gate or something I need to be coherent. Tetris keeps me sober, lets try that'. And they ended up switching the gate four times, so Tetris was actually the right choice.

Can none of your friends not buy and send it to you if you paypal the money? That has to be cheaper than the passport idea.

Not as strange as you might think! (http://psychcentral.com/blog/archives/2009/01/08/tetris-inoculation-against-ptsd-flashbacks/)

I hope get Amazon to play nice soon. :) Have you tried removing your address from your account entirely and re-adding it? Check your billing address as well as shipping? Silly things like that have worked for me with amazon in the past. I've never successfully got help from an actual person there.

In the meantime do you have tetris on your computer or phone?

That study was fascinating. (also I find it amusing that I didn't start reading the article until I turned the dropping L one time right, and then dropped it over the other blue one, making a rectangle of eight blue blocks. Because getting it in the right place is obviously Important) Thanks for the link!

I can probably find a place to play online for now. I don't actually have a cellphone. *is weird*

I'm the same way with solitaire. That's what I always play to keep myself from losing my mind. Only, a few weeks ago we had a power outage while I was playing it on my laptop and the laptop had some kind of power surge and ever since then I can't get it to work! I'm having the hardest finding a good version of the game to DL to replace the one that doesn't work and it's making me crazy! In the meantime, I do have it on my phone and I can play that, but it's really not the same. So I completely understand and feel your pain!

Yay empathy! I really hope you find a decent downloadable version. I can't believe solitare doesn't work. Is there any way to get a re-download from windows? Er, do you have a bought version or a cracked version, I guess I should ask. Can't really email windows for help if you have an illegal copy.

What kind of device is it? I can walk you through fixing it yourself if it's a DS :)

It's just a specific handheld Tetris. It's this one, actually...http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/526/tetrisgame1jpg.jpg/ So it probably can't be dissected and fixed. But thanks for the offer of help!

Is everything squared away, dahling? That's one fancy Tetris machine you have. thought you were on the Gameboy Color. I'm surprised that the one you have has color; it looks so retro.

But yeah, if it's not squared away just yet, lemmie know. I live in New York and that's close enough to Canadaland that I would be happy to send you stuff. I've been buying more things on Amazon than is polite recently... shouldn't have gotten a debit card... >.>

As far as I've figured out, if I want a book in their shelves I'm okay. But if I want electronics, food, or marketplace books Amazon says HAHAHA.

While I'm not gonna take you up on anything right now, I might in the future. I can't find sugar free koolaid here any longer, and while we're stocked up, (my dad is a food hoarder) in six months I might need some. On the other hand, there's something wrong with me, and I have a barrage of tests in September, so if I'm terminal I won't exactly need more than six months worth of koolaid. Oh, isn't it fun to look on the bright side?

So, thanks for the offer, and I might hit you up about it later. :)

I didn't even know they still made sugar-free kool-aid. Unless you mean the ones in the tiny little packages.
