...I shouldn't be allowed to talk out loud when I'm plotting a big bang. I had a huge plot hole in my spacebb (lol, 15 days to write it and edit it), and I figured it out, and I was so excited I shouted out SEE, RACE WARS SOLVE EVERYTHING. My parents were very 0.0 at me.

For the record, I do not believe race wars are good. It just fixed a lot of things in my story for that to be a background historical plot.

*Laughs happily at that* I wonder sometimes two things. One, how parents of hardcore slashers must feel- do they get it? Do they know what's going on even? Obviously yours are fine with it and don't mind, but I wonder how it feels for the older generation. "My daughter likes to write about gay male sex, hm!"

The second thing is, I wonder about the next gen growing up and marrying. It's gonna be interesting as fuck with all of these kids who grow up with parents (mostly moms) who roleplay, read, draw, and write slash. X3 Imagine some 16 year old girl answering an ad on Yaoi Roleplay RP and after a few e-mails back and forth, she realizes hang on... ohmy GOD that's my mother's ad! !!!! 0.0"

I sometimes wish my mom was into Startrek slash (even though I don't ship it, it would be interesting) and then sometimes I'm like THANK FUCK SHE DOESN'T SLASH IT. Because seriously, her and my friend Kay in depth talking about Kirk blowing people might scar me a bit.
