someone on the flist is doing a 'what i looked like at 17' meme. nearly all my my pictures are lost to my old computer (the downside of digital), but here's one that made it. it might not be 17 exactly, but it's at least first year of college, so 18.



this was back when i wore a toque every day. this is (one of) my zombie toques, if you look closely the one on the left has red eyes and arms outstretched.

pretty soon i'm off to london ontario for a long weekend. ( to chill with people that ship only harry/draco. dude, how did i get myself into this?) i'll try to write some good fic on the plane for you all.

i've got another, it's lime green with embroidered brains on it. sort of like directions to a resturant for the zombies. just bein' helpful, you know?

i personally think toque sounds a lot better than beanie or skullcap. beanie just sounds stupid, and it's not a cap for my skull, i have hair, so it's a haircap. and it's not just a normal hat, hats are like baseball hats.

in conclusion, i feel an affinity for patrick, because i own probably 30 toques. i've got some in every colour!

it's so funny because at 22 i'm the youngest here, there's a 23 year old and everyone else is in their 40's. and it's 1, and they're all in bed. last night i was like okay, whatever, everyone besides me drove and they had long days. but again tonight! it's a freakin party weekend, how are they not rocking this shit? like, my flight was at 9, so to get to the airport in time friday morning i had to be up at 6. but my friends had come over, and we were all hanging out and drinking until after 4. i had two hours of sleep and i still stayed up until 4.30ish, dicking around on lj and then reading a borrowed book. but it's cool, between the 11 of us there are 5 laptops, and being awake and by myself gives me the chance to read bandom. they're all in just hp, so it's been hp talk the last 48 hours, which is fun, obviously, otherwise i wouldn't have flied in. but i'm listening to Bullets and i want to read some waycest, you know?
