for my own notes about tables:

my xmen table still needs 61 fics. (this won't be worked on until i finish a different table.)
my sid/tony table still needs 62 fics.
my skins missing moments needs 12 fics
my james/sirius table needs 10 fics
my remus/sirius table needs 11 fics
my OTP breaking challenge needs 39 fics
my ron/harry table needs 75 fics (won't start until i finish a different table)
my hc bingo needs 20 fics
my hs bingo needs 25 fics (won't start until i finish a different table)
my mikey/gerard bingo needs 23 fics.
my crossover bingo needs 23 fics.

which leaves with with a grand total of 322 fics. (which seems wrong, because my last calculation was 405, am i missing a table somewhere?)
eta: i'm a fucking idiot, i forgot to add in my OTP breaking challenge. real total is 361. LOL, I COULD FINISH IN A YEAR, IF I WROTE A FIC A DAY.


i'm currently transcribing my notebook notes from the last few days and i see at some point i made notes about the pete/gabe/mikey big bang fic. i sort of kind of hate listedheart for this.

i am almost finished my werewolf bigbang. i was about half finished plotwise, about 600 words from mandatory wordcount, and then i really looked at what i was writing and managed to cull a bunch of worthless crap from the 'plot'. this makes me a happy panda, as now i only have three sections left to write before i can get back to shorter, instant gratification fics.

on the other hand, i haven't even started my ron big bang yet. so i either need to really get going with that, or bail out. i don't question that i could write 20k with the plot in my head, i just don't know if i'd rather be doing that, or writing short fics. i lose patience pretty quickly.

i figure what's the point of being in fandom if you're not cranking out the fic? that or commenting on other's people's fic. (or arting, obvs) but the thing is i like weird pairings and weird kinks, so when i can't find what i want, i have to write it myself. and then the OCD kicks in, and it's like LET'S MAKE AN ENTIRE TABLE OF SHIT YOU SHOULD WRITE and then the numbers spiral up and up. *laughs at self*

I haven't started my Ron big bang yet, either. We've got loads of time. Come on, let's do it together. I get bored easily, too, but it's going to be fine!

In other news: how did I not know that you have a James/Sirius table? They are my last gen OTP. But of course you are writing them, we seem to have some fused area of brain tissue or something. All the same fests.

There's no deadline on the tables, is there? If you're worried then don't pick up any more until you've completed one or two. There is a deadline for the big bang but it's not for a couple of months.

well, see, it all started off because i listened to this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvf--10EYXw and was like THIS SONG IS SO ABOUT JAMES AND SIRIUS HAVING ROUGH SEX WITH EACH OTHER BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO HURT LILY AND REMUS. they want to be gentlemen for their lovers, so they fuck each other like animals. or, at least that's what the chorus is about.
and then i ended up downloading the cd, and immediately wrote a james/sirius based on 'Ur So Gay'. and then i was like fuck it, so i just made a table of 13, so i have a fic for each track. they're not shitty ff.net songfics, i don't have any lyrics intersperced, i just find the *shudder* pop music inspiring.

i think the hc, hs, and kiss bingos need to be done within a year? but that should be easy enough. i am more amused than panicked. i just have a table addiction. *shrugs* at least my ocd is strong enough that i won't be mentally capable of leaving fandom until every table is done. not that i have plans on leaving anyway, i love it here.

I'm going for a Ron/Lee because 1) I just wrote Ron/Draco for the Draco big bang and I don't think I've got enough left to say that's original about my OTP just yet and
2) I had a yen to read some a while ago and couldn't find any.
Oh, and, in a very shallow way 3) I write a lot about Malfoys and Weasleys and I could do with a break from all that pale skin.

yeah, no, i'm listening to manson as i type this. just, she's got lyrics like : "So I don't want to be/One of the boys/One of your guys/Just give me a chance/To prove to you tonight/I just wanna be/One of the girls/Pretty in pearls/Not one of the boys" which is clearly about sirius wishing he was just a little bit more feminine, so he could get with straight, lily-dating james, but in the end james will be like I LIKE THAT YOU'RE A DUDE, IDIOT. or: "Cause when I'm with him/I am thinking of you/Thinking of you/What you would do if/You were the one/Who was spending the night" which is obviously sirius gets a random boyfriend and thinks of james the whole time, before remus snaps and tells them they're both fucking morons and to stop dating people they don't want to fuck, and peter adds yeah, fucking seriously, come on! and then they both leave james and sirius to figure out their shit. so, as utter CRAP and not my style as the music is, i find myself writing fics based on it. (lol, i am also writing not one but THREE Mikey fics based on lady gaga's telephone)

THAT IS THE BEST REASON TO WRITE SOMETHING. i 100% support 'i can't find it, so i'm going to write it' fics. also, i would tap that like you wouldn't believe. not that i have any idea what your plot is like, but i highly hope for a OMGWOT?! scene when fred and george find out their best friend is tapping their baby brother.

She has really clear, expressive lyrics. One of my daughters has the album and much as I don't want to, I end up listening to the lyrics and the girls and I have a dance routine to 'hot & cold'. There's such a fic in that one!

I'm starting at Fred's funeral (I just keep working through Fred's death, I guess I can't come to terms with it) but George is going to do the 'OMG my baby bro!' and Lee gets lots of 'what's wrong with me? My bbs' baby bro?' bits. I can't decide how psycho Hermione's going to be yet. Pretty bad, I think.

i look forward to it all. i think i'll finish my werewolf big bang, take like a week off with short fics, and then try to write this gryffindorgy. because if i don't, the plot will poke at me for ages. it's going to be the plottiest of my bigbangs thus far. (which doesn't say much, my first was like 14k of porn for 15k, the second was like 16k of angst for 20k, and the third is going to be like 10k of holy shit i'm a werewolf what? and 2k of sex, and no actual plot. it's alllll coming to terms with it. so much fail at plot, gala. so. much. fail.)

*winces* yeah, i tend to deal with my not dealing by completely ignoring that it happened. maybe your fic will be the one that finally heals my soul!
