i am so glad that i am downloading this instead of watching it on tv, because i think having to wait an entire week before seeing the final episode would have killed me.

rory is like the best ever. i haven't watched any of the other doctors, but from what i've mildly learned reading friends of friends is that this is the first doctor who's companion is already attached to someone? which gets in the way of the doctor/companion shipping. but whatever, rory is fucking awesome. he punches the doctor when he says that she's just one more body. <333

it's not your fault. i don't think i posted about it at all? basically my season ran like two weeks later than the american seasons, so i couldn't spy on any spoilers. and then there was this random like 3 week hiatus between __ and the lodger, and i missed the lodger, so i only got around to downloading the last three last night. but yeah, it's pretty fucking awesome. i don't think i'd go back and download the other doctors, because i just really love these characters and i know they all change.

i went into it pretty close-minded because i knew that torchwood was a spinoff of doctor who, and just as i was deciding if i wanted to get into it, there was all the child of earth stuff and i was like I AM STAYING AWAY FROM DYING GAY LOVERS. so i decided i'd watch one episode and go from there. and my went from there was like EEEEE, THIS IS AWESOME. horrific with the fucking cliffhangers, as bad as fucking heroes was, but still awesome.

i was very happy about the happy ending. and i totally ship rory/amy without caring that they're het. this little voice in my head is like WTF YO, but the rest is SHUT UP, LOOKIT THEM! although i've seen rory/amy/doctor on the latest porn battle, which i didn't read because i wanted to avoid spoilers, but which i will probably go read now, because yeah, polygamy is the only thing that could make that show better. after she's married she tries to kiss the doctor who's like NOES and rory's like HEY and she's like "it's MY wedding" and she obviously wears the pants in the relationship and yeah. rory/amy is LUFFLY.

also, i know you're not in bandom, but this is my only remotely romantic icon, so deal.

Yeah, avoid Torchwood. But the reason 11 isn't like TW is because Dr. Who and Torchwood are made by Russell T. Davies (RTD, the guy who created the British QaF). Then Stephen Moffatt took over this season, with 11 and Amy and Rory, and he created everything you saw this season, and he's awesome and I love the way he writes het (the British Coupling is one of the only shows where I genuinely ship all the het canon ships). So RORY/AMY FTW!

Like, I can see Dr/Rory/Amy, so so much, but at the same time, there's this part of me that's like "Yeah, but look at just the two of them. They're so perfect, why would I want to mess that dynamic up?" I'm just so stoked for COUPLE ON THE TARDIS! *has waited through years of RTD's crap for this*

stephan moffat is amazing, i have decided. he needs some serious high-fiving for what he's done. now i just need to wait until christmas 2010 for the second part of the season. again, like fucking heroes with mini seasons and making me want to bash my head against a wall.

yeah, i don't think i'll write it. though neither will i write rory/amy. i think i might read it slightly, but i'll mostly just watch the show. sci-fi fandoms tend to need more plot before the smut, and i'm not good at that shit.

also, i am not on twitter, but one of my friends that is and knows my loves told me that they've finished casting for skins cast three. so yayes! if they're done casting they'll start filming soon. :D

Well, it's not a second part of the season, it's just...the way Brit tv works is they do seasons that are shorter than us North American people are used to, like 10-13 episodes is a whole season, and for bigger, popular shows, the Beeb also asks them to do specials, like on Christmas, Easter, and New Years, just so they can get viewers on those days when most people are sitting around with their family eating dinner and shit. If they can go "HEY, NEW WHO!" then those people are likely to flick on the TV while they do their holiday stuff, you know? So it's short season, and then popular shows also get specials.

Supposedly one of the girls is going to be not-straight (no word on if she'll be bi or lesbian or what) so that makes me happy, 'cause as much as Skins fucked up, Naomily was one of the best love stories ever told PERIOD, and was actually the best lesbian love story EVER. They give good lesbian, what can I say?
