basically i have to start emailing my resume around. but i have a pretty old version of microsoft, and i'm not sure if people can open my docs (i remember this being a problem trying to open essays to print at school). but i think this might be because i was always saving in .wps format. i also have a .doc format.
so i'd like to email my resume to a few people and see if you can open it.
if you can't, i'm probably a bit fucked, because downloading a new version will probably get rid of all the old files, and it's a hard choice between not being able to use my resume and losing 6 years of documents. so i'm really hoping it'll open. of course, i can't know that until someone lets me email them. please?
