It was impossible to talk to Matt about anything. He was so damn caught up with his damn poor kid. If Eli tried to show an interest and ask about the damn poor kid, Matt would respond with an irritating “His name is Samnang”.
Frankly, Eli didn’t care about what his name was. He really didn’t give a crap about the poor kid, he just wanted to connect with Matt. There were a few ways he could still get through though.
