when I came on the internet, I had a plan, okay? I was going to reply to comments, check the flist, and finish writing the anon_lovefest prompt I fell in love with, and then try to write a NANANA waycest, trolling killjoys kink meme for something pleasing to add in. And later there was going to be Criminal Minds and baking pound three of twenty pounds of shortbread, and then there would be more internet.
AND THEN I WAS LIKE THREE PEOPLE INTO THE FLIST, AND JESUS. FUCKING. CHRIST. Apparently MCR are all Xmen. I don't think anyone understands my obsessive love of movieverse. I don't really like comic books (sorry waybros, i just can't get into reading something with like five sentences of text per page, it's too much like reading books to kids at work) so I haven't gotten into the five billion different comics. But movieverse. I watched x3 seven times in theatres. I watched x2 every single day for a period of three months. I wore out my xmen 1 vhs, and had to buy a second one before buying a dvd, and then buying another one when 1.5 came out with the special shit.
Xmen was the first fandom I ever wrote a chaptered fic in. And people liked it enough that I had someone make me a mix for it, and I had another person make me manips. (this was before big bangs were a fandom concept, even) Xmen made me rant about shipping for days. This summer when I was in Universal and there was a xmen section I flipped the hell out.
So. Yes. Ray and Mikey and Gerard being all LOOKIT ME, I'M A MUTANT and Frank being LOLZ RANDOM STRIPPING? Blows my FUCKING MIND and makes it impossible to write anything except xmen crossover, and read anything except xmen fic. Plan for the day is totally fucked.
