Author's Notes: I struggled with this prompt for hc bingo, part of me wanted to write something about Gerard and 9/11, and part of me thought it was crossing a line. I ended up still using it in part, but in what seemed like more of a respectful manner. I didn't make anything up, Joe's experience is almost identical to what mine was.
